This is a clip of our trip in PA. It was a great trip of mostly hiking in the mountains. We went hiking with our dogs, white water rafting, and rock climbing. We cooked on the grill and had a bonfire everynight. We could hear animals in the woods all around us, as well as the bears when they would raid the garbage at night. Music is by Mingus! My brothers old band. They were very good before they broke up.

Chito made friends with the croc after finding him with a gunshot wound on the banks of the Central American state's Parismina river 20 years ago. He had been shot in the left eye by a cattle farmer and was close to death. But Chito enlisted the help of several pals to load the massive reptile into his boat. He says: "When I found Pocho in the river he was dying, so I brought him into my house". "He was very skinny, weighing only around 150lb I gave him chicken and fish and medicine for six months to help him recover. "I stayed by Pocho's side while he was ill, sleeping next to him at night. I just wanted him to feel that somebody loved him, that not all humans are bad. It meant a lot of sacrifice. I had to be there every day. I love all animals - especially ones that have suffered." It took years before Chito felt that Pocho had bonded with him enough to get closer to the animal. He says: "After a decade I started to work with him. At first it was slow, slow. I played with him a bit, slowly doing more. "Then I found out that when I called his name he would come over to me." At one point during his recovery, Chito left the croc in a lake near his house. But as he turned to walk away, to his amazement Pocho got out of the water and began to follow him home. Chito recalls: "That convinced me the crocodile could be tame." But when he first fearlessly waded into the water with the giant reptile his family was so horrified they couldn't bear to watch. So instead, he took to ...

The Schapendoes (also known as the Dutch Sheepdog, Dutch Schapendoes and Nederlandse Schapendoes) was valued by shepherds in the Netherlands as an intelligent and tireless worker. He is believed to be related to the Bearded Collie and the Briard, among others. Although the Dutch Sheepdog has existed for centuries, the breed is not common. The Schapendoes is friendly, high-spirited, independent and alert. He is also very affectionate and loyal to his family. He has great endurance, mobility and speed as well as a tremendous ease of jumping. Like most herding breeds, the Schapendoes requires a fair amount of exercise and enjoys many dog sports and activities.Featuring a vast array of popular themes, such as the four seasons, water, animals, nature, adventure, travel and destinations ... set to music. FILLERS are always nice to look at, often quite amusing, the images can be programmed flexibly. This clip is a 3' FILLER in the DOG BREEDS PACKAGE. © & information: www.stockshot.nl Highres version or broadcast video footage of several dog breeds and cat breeds is available.

The dog has been man's best friend for thousands of years. The friendly, obedient animals serve people throughout the world in work, play and sports. Dogs live near the Eskimo's igloo, in jungle villages, in farm houses and in city apartments. Many dogs have given their own lives to save or protect their masters. Dogs guard the home and herd cattle and sheep. Their keen sense of smell makes them fine hunting companions. Dogs were the first animals to be tamed by man. Most dogs can be trained to guard their masters' homes and property. Bloodhounds track down criminals. Specially-trained Seeing Eye dogs lead blind persons. Thus man has bred a large variety of dogs each with distinct characters and abilities. In the 6-part series "CATS & DOGS" , we look at several breeds of cats & dogs, chosen according to character. This children's friend is the Dalmatian.

One of his favorite games is to pick up and hold Ozy until Ozy either breaks free or quits. This is the video of him quitting. Even though it looks like Beckettz is squashing his neck at one point, he's fine. They play like this all the time.

Its the quiet last months of winter....im feeling it, i know that....the animals are feeling it too....most female adult seals have returned to the ocean leaving the pups behind to fend for themselves....majority survive, but some are left to perish. The male elephant seals are feeling it. They are desperate now to take control of the last female harems. They'll fight to the death if they have to. We do what we can to pass the time until the first ship arrives. We complete the end of our winter time with our 'farewell' dinner, funny that it should fall on Halloween.....

This is Polo. He is a 3 year old Rottweiler. He is just learning to "Go", or walk backwards. He picked it up by accident the day before. He wanted me to throw the Frisbee so he took a few steps backwards, about the same time I told him to 'Go'. The next time I told him to go and waited for him to take a step backwards then I threw the Frisbee. I kept reinforcing this a little at the time. This video is after no more than 30 such Frisbee tosses. He does some 'drop it', 'off', 'sit' etc as well, but a Rottie walking backwards is kinda neat.

So much has already happened this summer. We have lost two of our original winter crew, Jamie and Helen, who have now returned home to the mainland. Everyone here misses them incredibly. Sadness aside, we are happy to say that we have gained six more summer crew who are just as bright and enjoyable as our departed friends. They have arrived via the tourist ships, which continue to come in every two weeks. The magic of Christmas and the new year has also brightened spirits with exceptional food and entertainment. Our Gangsters and Flappers new year's eve party was awesome and we all saw the new year in with style. The animals continue to flourish through the summer with the spirit of survival flowing through their veins. Orcas prowl the coastline looking for the last remaining weeners and the Kings are still looking after their huge eggs.

This is his first time actually at the pond without having to share the dock with other dogs. He just learned how to jump off the dock about 2 months ago and he absolutely loves it... He has cleared 20feet easy on a couple jumps(the World record is like 29 feet). He usually puts on a show when the pretty retrievers show up. Keep flying boy!!
