well, so far it’s ok…and that’s as much as i can say about it. The Power Producer software isn’t that great, it’s simple and lets you work with the video, but I’m used to premier so I just import the video and convert to AVI then work with that. I have the 20Gb (base model) which gives 4.5 hours but only comes with about an 1.5 battery life.
The front of my cam has already broken and is trying to fall off, I have the service plan so back to the shop it goes.!

I have to say I like mine. About the software. Does all versions of power director work on the JVC. The basic does not even let you make jpeg from the footage. But like you said it is easy to use and a lot more powerful than MS movie maker.

What about the High Definition Hard Disk Camcorder from Sony? It is only 30 GB.
